Richard has been working in Corporate Finance for over 10 years. After nine years in the German Air Force officers career, Richard left the military as Chief of Staff of a tactical airlift group to pursue a career in corporate finance. Before joining Sophora and prior to his project work as finance interim-manager, he had already been working for two years in investment controlling at Thüga AG, the investment arm of a major German utility corporation, and another two years as finance manager for HV Capital, one of the oldest and largest venture capital funds in Germany. Richard studied Economics (Dipl. Kfm. Univ.) at the German Armed Forces University in Munich and earned an executive MBA from the Open University Business School in Cambridge.
