Sophora has successfully closed its inaugural fund, “Sophora Unternehmer-Fonds I”, at its hard cap of EUR 50 million. This milestone reflects the confidence and support of more than 100 entrepreneurs, managers, and corporate finance professionals who have joined this journey.

Founded in 2022 and based in Munich, Sophora set out with a clear vision: to become a leading player in the lower midmarket through an interdisciplinary and focused value creation approach. Significant milestones have been achieved since then, and there is much progress to share. Over the past two years, the team has grown to 8 dedicated professionals, each bringing diverse expertise and a shared passion for driving success in the lower midmarket. To date, investments have been made in three exceptional firms: auxalia, smaXtec, and Flow-Tronic. These partnerships underscore a commitment to fostering long-term growth and value creation.
