As we reflect on last year, we are proud to present the remarkable success journey of Sophora Unternehmerkapital throughout the year 2023.

Last year has been pivotal in laying the foundation for a sustainable and prosperous future, achieved through collaboration with our valued business partners.

Despite the challenging market environment, Sophora was able to successfully launch its inaugural fund with a target size of €50m and complete two fund investments in Germany (auxalia) and Austria (smaXtec animal care), that have both shown an excellent performance in 2023.

Commencing the year 2023 with a team of 5, we’re proud to announce the expansion of our interdisciplinary team to 8 professionals with two additions to our Investment Team as well as the hiring of a CFO.

As we enter the next phase, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the success of 2023.
