Sophora portfolio companies indevis and Data-Sec now operate under the unified brand name Argos Security. The rebranding marks the visible culmination of a systematic post-merger integration process, executed on plan since Sophora’s simultaneous investment in both companies in June 2025.

With Argos Security, a fully integrated cybersecurity group has been established, bringing together the complementary strengths of both predecessors under a single brand promise: more than 100 cybersecurity professionals across Munich and Freiburg, a comprehensive service portfolio spanning Managed Detection & Response, Incident Response, forensics, and a proprietary German-language 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC), alongside a clearly structured, scalable offering for the upper “Mittelstand” and enterprise segments across the DACH region.

A Name with Purpose

The name Argos is inspired by Argos Panoptes, the hundred-eyed watchman of Greek mythology – a symbol of vigilance, comprehensive oversight, and the ability to identify threats early and act decisively. Qualities that are more in demand than ever in an era of increasingly complex and automated cyberattacks, and ones that Argos Security demonstrates for its clients every day.

Structured Service Model as a Value Creation Lever

A core output of the post-merger integration is the redesign of the group’s commercial service model.
